Attached is a picture of what my sketches look like when I use the grease pencil in draw mode.
Edit mode isn’t any better; it only shows a thin white line connecting the vertices. Here’s what that looks like:
Can anyone tell me how to make it solid as shown in the video? It’s really hard to sketch when I can’t see what I’m drawing.
you have pinned a material to your pen that uses a series of dots to create the lines you are laying down.
To return to the default material simply delete the Dot Stroke material.
Alternately, you can go to the materials tab in the property panel and modify this material (including changing the stroke type) to be what you want.
Thank you! No idea how that dot stroke material was applied, I didn’t hit any hotkeys or anything when following the lesson. It was like that by default, but thank you for the solution.
