I normally don’t deviate so much from a course, however this was a great opportunity to try and mix and match a bunch of tips I’ve learned recently, almost like a practice run for trying to model my own drawings, using Grant’s lovely design as inspiration. Though I have to say I have a new appreciation for anyone who has the patience to use hair curves. After initially getting frustrated, I just decided ‘this chick’s getting a ponytail’, and used Grant’s youtube tutorial on stylized hair as a basis.

I agree, though her belt buckle is what really caught my eye. The “swing” of her ponytail, however is a bit much though, but otherwise looks good.
