I absolutely get the idea of gradients and they seem like they’ll be really useful. I’m running into an issue though and none of the gimp forums I’ve found seem to have anything on it so I figured I’d try you fine people.
When I put my gradient in, it shows up on my canvas, but not on the preview thumbnail above. Once in a great while if I close out of gimp entirely and start a new project I can get it to work… Once. Then if I try to edit or change something or try again, nothing on the thumbnail. It’s pretty frustrating. As far as I can tell, my settings are the same as the ones in the lecture. (I’m using the newest version so there are a couple of extra checkboxes but I haven’t added anything the video doesn’t talk about.
Has anyone run into this?
Any idea where I’m going wrong?
