In the Godot tutorial, the instructor mentioned that you can hold down Control, then click and drag a node to automatically create the @onready line for that node. Is there an equivalent shortcut for Mac users? I’ve tried Command, Control, and option and none of them work. (Well, the best it does it just do the same thing as if I just dragged the node - i.e. paste in $node.). Thank you.
Hey, had the same problem. What worked for me was to start dragging first and only then start holding Ctrl.

yep, the control then click and drag will only work if nothing is selected in the scene initially.
(click to deselect and selected node, then do it)
or as Pedro mentioned, hold control down mid drag before releasing on script.
nice share, cheers
