Godot: Camera drops to floor

Hi Bram,
When I set my camera to top level. When I run the scene, the camera drops to the floor. Any idea why this might be?

To be honest, I am using my own first person controller that includes some animations to make the camera move on jumping and landing from jumps and so forth, but…should it fall to the floor? That doesn’t seem right.

Without knowing the controller you are using its a little difficult to diagnose what the issue is but it sounds like something is resetting the camera position on play because of something in the controller itself.
I would test however with the set up we are using to rule anything else out and see if it reoccurs and let us know what you find out.
