I am new to Godot C#, after playing with it for some time and interacting its community support. I noticed Godot C# is treated as second grade citizen, GDScript is the primary language that received the most updates often.
In fact, the first question I asked in the Godot forum was how is the C# support in Godot, certain Godot C# die hard fan felt uneasy and asked me to look at the Godot C# source code as it is open source, and there is one feedback saying, “bad”.
I believed Godot is a great platform, provided the C# support is prioritized otherwise you cannot use the power of .NET libraries such as Bluetooth…etc, and you will always be disappointed on each new Godot release. Personally, I had enough frustration of using cross platform tool with similar incident as explained in my previous post HERE.
Occasionally I will browse through latest version of Godot, but there are four years old external IDE problems using C# reported also not being solved, when asking the community, the feedback from its die hard fan just ridiculous, I don’t put much hope on it.
