Planning on doing the same and inverting the tones for the black pieces!

Interesting plan. Should look sufficiently clearly opposite sides, if not you could change a face loop to the white main colour, in this example.

I don’t think this look will be final, I was originally going to do one face loop as opposed to the whole “Stem”, but I like this. I might experiment other designs later, but so far I’m happy! Looks pretty neat on the bishop!
