Glabal vs Normal

When i put the wholes inside my bowl. Glabal and Normal looks the same. Why is that?

I think because of the object local is based on the world when added to the scene.
When you rotate the ball object its local will change.

It might be related to the first extrusion you did making those holes which look to be going in at an odd angle. Or possibly that right side panel set to local.

Personally, I tend just to try whatever orientation setting that gets what I want. Some are the same as each other in effect depending on the situation.
