The custom skybox I chose in the asset store is called “Purple Space Nebula Skybox” and I quite like it.

If you look closely, you can see skinny, slightly white lines along the floor and walls of the cave, and I’m not entirely sure why that is. They seem to be related to the ambient light, as when I change the ambient intensity they move around. It could be that they are white ambient light from the skybox, since the skybox does have some white sections, though it is mostly purple.

Regarding the two questions in the challenge:
- The skybox is used to determine the colour/s of the ambient light. Reading the documentation, using a skybox changes the ambient light coming in from different angles, so this could explain the white light I am seeing.
- The reflection on the capsule now obviously shows the new skybox. In the first picture above, I’m still using a reflection probe, so you can only see the skybox at the very top of the capsule. If I remove the reflection probe (or move it away), the capsule reflects the new skybox on the whole surface, as shown below.
