GDTV Stop Clickbaiting!

Using beautiful polished covers for the courses then delivering something else is clickbait and demotivates students. This was my last GDTV Course.
Is @Grant_Abbitt aware that GDTV is using clickbait covers for his courses?

I’m sick of learning to create half-finished prototypes that wouldn’t stand a chance on Steam.

Does GDTV as a team even have any polished Steam-released game titles under their belt to actually teach and use in their courses?

GDTV Team I love you guys but please do better. You need to go a little deeper and release extra content so by the end of the courses we get finished polished games. Enough with the prototypes.

I’m sorry you feel that way. I changed the course image to the spartan warrior recently and I believe that offers a fair representation of the course. The course is meant to teach animation which is hard to represent in a static thumbnail. The animations you learn can be placed on the character shown and in fact I use the knowledge gained in this course to do just that. We go into how to add weapons to your characters so everything that’s shown here is within the course accept the character. Where you expecting to make characters in the course? If so perhaps I need to make the marketing clearer. Thanks for any further feedback. Please do ask for a full refund if you’re not happy.

@Grant_Abbitt I think you’re an excellent teacher and I’ve learned so much from you.

A few days later and now I see how this image might be interpreted incorrectly for those who don’t understand prototyping/greyboxing and similar concepts…
It was never my intention to paint such a hardworking person as you in a bad light.

This communication shortcoming shouldn’t have been exposed publicly like this because other students might see this and get the wrong impression even though my point about the thumbnail stays.
