Hello! I have finished making my text-based game. I didn’t change too much but I tried to add some humor to it. You can find it here.
Let me know what you think!

The mop head as a wig made me chuckle
One thing that did catch my attention as something that could be improved is your text layout and the way you let the user know what keys to press. Sometimes you highlight the keys (D), (S) etc. within the text, and then ask ‘what do you want to do’ (this seems to be mostly at the start), and then you mostly switch to the format of ‘Press (key) to do this’ instead. Although it’s not hard to understand either way, consistency is good
In terms of text layout, I’m not sure if you were worried about running out of space (I certainly did with my walls of text!), but you might want to make sure you’re using line breaks to (at the very least) separate your descriptive text from your instruction text - it just helps the narrative flow a bit, because the break allows the user to switch mental gears from ‘this is my story’, to ‘these are my options’. I hope this is useful
Thank you for the help. I think I was rushing to get it finished so I could go to bed
