So when Rick suggests to stop the video and come up with a game mash up, I thought of Stratuno, a combination of Stratego and Uno, where the backs of the Stratego tiles would have Uno designs which would indicate you could ‘take 2’ pieces instead of one, and the challenge would be to knock out your opponents cards by matching them in the way UNO does.
Anyway, it was far to similar to Rick’s Battle-UNO so I’ve had to come up with something else.
… and that is Talifluxx!
Talifluxx is played the same as Talisman, but the conditions to win and other rules can change throughout the game just like Fluxx. On occasion one of the ‘item’ cards could instead be a ‘rules change card’. Have to have a Talisman to get into the centre? Maybe the rules would change to a Talisman and a magic sword, or all the creatures get double strength for a turn.
