How come?
When I brainstorm, I like to write things down in a doc instead of a flowchart because flowcharts are very limiting info wise and take a lot of time. However, now that I think about it, it may be a good idea to have both a doc and a flowchart. I just tend to get a lot of ideas when brainstorming and its annoying when I have to make an additional box and arrow for each one. Games should be kept simple though, witch is why a flowchart may be useful.
Again, now that I was forced to answer this, flowcharts do seem to have a valid use.
