I just wanted to say that a course on modeling and preparing assets for games would be very successful. I’m talking more of, like, weapons or buildings or items or stuff like that, because you already have a course covering the character part of it.
If you came out with a course a couple months ago, I would have surely bought it. Because there is none, I had to struggle through the process via forums and YouTube tutorials and the like. It’s a very complicated process with lots of potential bugs (especially in the baking stage). You could use Blender to model, Blender or xNormal to bake, the new Quixel with all of its free materials to texture, and export it to UE4 for a game.
I think that there are enough people trying to get into this aspect of game design that would really aid your Unreal courses as well. That way, someone would be able to get a whole game dev education from you guys instead of having to go elsewhere.
Reply if you think so as well!
