FYI If your meshes move to weird spots while renaming them

So if you got to the part where I was ‘Started renaming the armatures while the Armature Modifier was in effect’ and the meshes moved to weird spots when you click the deform button then:

  1. I’m not alone in my idiocy for one.
  2. We didn’t reset the mesh to it’s original position by clearing the transforms before anything else.

What I think is happening is that since the transforms were not reset the armature used those coordinates and incorporated them into it’s new mesh . And if you were like me then your beginning pose was drastically different from the rest position.

Anyway just thought I’d give someone a heads up since that was never an issue because, checking the videos, Micheal told us to do that a few lectures ago.
