I decided to use vertex colour painting to control hair colour, but I think it may have been better to just use an image texture (it’s annoying having vertexes as a resolution limit).
I’ll probably tweak colours more for the next render.

Hair is always tricky, more so perhaps as fur. Needs some trimming round the nose?
But generally has a good effect.
