I wanted to resize an UI image from the centre. However, the “option” key doesn’t work for me (btw I’m using mac). Instead, this is what happened: I only saw an eye icon, like the one shown below:

but I was like, before I start the course I should know more about the shortcuts yk for productivity purposes !!
Then I came across a shortcut I found online about resizing UI image using option key so it stretches from the middle but it didn’t work !
Unfortunately, I don’t know that tutorial. The best would be to ask the creator of the tutorial. We teaching assistants can help you with the content of GameDev.tv courses only.
Donovan, don’t worry about productivity and shortcuts. Take the class and learn the basics. Then come back to the shortcut tutorial. Unity has a lot going on and a good grasp of the basics will go a long way towards being “productive”.
