While I tried drawing human figures, the traditional painting techniques I learnt in my early ages kept interfering with me. For one thing, I ended up with this less cartoony and less expressive drawing:
Will it be worth forgetting about traditional techniques when working on the illustration of human figures? Are they meant to be completely different kinds of artwork?
