For me, the folder structure that made sense was:
Chess Set
L Assets
L References
L Textures
L Models
L Exports
For me it made sense to have the textures and reference material be an asset for me to use while I design the models and scene. In Exports I can easily find the output of my renders.
What makes “Assets” different from “Models”?
Is a model only a mesh?
And assets is mesh plus materials?
Hoe do you maintain the models and asset (copies)?
I see assets as a place where I can have the pieces that help me make the models, and those models in turn can become assets in a scene. As to how I maintain the model and asset copies I don’t quite get the question, maybe I am not so far ahead in the course to get it, can you elaborate on it please.
