Flying Veges

Hey everyone,

sharing my simple project Flying Veges, very similar to the tutorial Project Boost. Well, the spaceship was supposed to be an onion, but looks more like a balloon. Maybe in future I’ll make a better design. :slight_smile: I made it as an exercise and it’s the first Unity Game I have made so I’m really happy about that.

There are 4 levels. In order to keep you sane, if you crash, you play the SAME level you crashed in. To be honest, I have not managed to get through the last level. If you feel like having a challenge, feel free to try it. I’ll be happy for any feedback. Share what level you got to and if you manage level 4, say hi and and how long it took you. :slight_smile:

W = thrust, A and D = rotation

Hey there, I made it through Level 4 and it took a LOT of attempts. Thank you for saving what sanity I have left by resetting to the current level. I think the rotation is a little too sensitive, but otherwise I like the controls because W is much more comfortable for me than the spacebar.

Wow David, so happy to read your constructive feedback, thank you. :slight_smile:

Congrats to making it through the 4th level, sorry for making it so difficult, I’m glad to hear that you kept some level of sanity and really beat the levels. W A D is more comfortable for me, as well, and I even thought about using the arrows after my girlfriend way a bit annoyed by the controls. Actually, less sensitive rotation suited me better, too.

Well, thanks again!

I enjoyed playing it, but I did not pass level 1:) I think it is way to hard from start, should have a level or two that gets you into the game and sets the mode. Rotation and possibly thrust set a bit too high in my opinion. Great idea with the fruits, looks really nice.

Hi Okidokie, I’m glad to hear you’ve enjoyed playing the game. :slight_smile: I believe you’re right, the first level is hard until you get accustomed to the controls. A really easy level or two sound like a great idea. Thanks for the feedback!
