I actually used the mask method with the background fill for all of these.

Offensive Weapon: Axe - Actually drew this on paper in the drawing course and re-used it as a reference image
Defensive Weapon: Shield - I really cannot draw a circle lol
Added another layer and used a sky-like texture for the background for the axe
