Dreadnought and Warhammer 40k fan here. Guess, I should have started with smth a little bit simpler but what’s done is done. 
I’ve tried Eevee with sunlight first, didn’t like it and switched to Cycle and point/spot lights. Have to say, illuminating subjects appeared to be way more complicated than I expected.
