Ok, time for some constructive criticism: you have two halves of a fun game, but to me they’re in the wrong order and that made it less fun.

The game starts with the gang trying to escape from a previous robbery that I as a player didn’t participate in and honestly didn’t care much about. As I kept making bad decisions and dying in the woods I started to get frustrated and wondered if I was ever going to commit my robbery.

Once I met Weston and started planning / executing the robbery I was having a lot of fun until I’d make a mistake and then back to the woods again. It was satisfying to finally complete the robbery, but that feels like it should be the end of the first half, and then what you currently have as your first half begins.

If you drop the whole “previous robbery” bit, every word of what you have works great for a second half of the gang trying to escape from the train robbery. You have all the colorful characters and conflicts and confrontations right there, and they’re even more interesting when the gang is sitting on a big pile of money. Does the gang stay loyal or turn on each other? Do we make it to Mexico or die in the woods or at the end of a rope? It would make all the deaths more amusing at least (I’m the greatest robber of all time and I still got my face ripped off by a bear) and starting over wouldn’t be so bad because, hey, I get to rob the train again!

Anyhow, that’s my feedback and I hope it’s useful. Good luck with the rest of the course.

I love the font in the game and also the choice of colors, really feels like wild west.
Also very nice story, considering it is your first game ever.
I am yet to publish my first game, and struggling the complexity of the different story-lines, so I think I will have to shorten it up a bit, or simplify.
Anyway, keep up the good work.

I enjoyed this game a lot. The concept and scope was impressive.

One bug I encountered was when I had to choose between listening to Cold Soul Malone or Snake Eyes Dave. I listened to Snake Eyes first, and when given the chance to listen to Cold Soul afterwards it led me back to the screen where I choose between Snake Eyes or Cold Soul instead of straight to the screen where Cold Soul gives his pitch.

I didn’t encounter any bugs other than that. Great job!
