Finished my Blender Character Creation Course

Finally finished my course. I am quite happy with the result and the animations turned out well. A bit sad about the weird artifact issue with my front loin cloth, but overall I am pleased.

I had the same issue, too long ago to remember.
But the loin cloth is made in a different way.

  • Apply scale and modifiers (just have a mesh), Did you use solidify?
  • Check normals
  • Check uvmap and texture mapping

Basic stuff to check for. It’s easy to miss something.

The Orc is beautifully sculpted.

The orc looks awesome! Can we see the animation or a render of him? The screenshot looks great but I can imagine it doesn’t do him justice. Great job!

yeah all was fine until it went to mixamo, which ruined it. Assuming it is issued with weights. Tried to fix it, but would cause too much clipping in animation so I decided to leave it as is for the final render for the course.

(Got tied up in some unreal prototyping) now I’m messing with Niagara particles lol.

Sure thing (don’t mind the shoddy .gif conversion) Not too happy with the unity lighting/materials, didn’t put time into it at all. but it has all the 3 anims I used.
