Fingers

When I reduce the polycount of my character, It fills in the space between the fingers.

Will this be fixed if I use Shrink Wrap it on a high poly character?

I see two different sizes of faces! And to me it looks like I’m looking at the high poly version of it.

  • Does you image show the High- and Low-poly model?
  • If one model, did you do a remesh?
  • I would fix this manually, maybe smooth brush in sculpt mode?

How are you reducing the poly count?
Fewer polys always have fewer options to fit shapes.

I am not too expert but if it rings a bell… to me those things between the fingers also look a lot like what you get in creases when remeshing to a finer mesh.

Never mind. I fixed it by increasing the poly count on the hp model and shrinkwrapped it with the lp one and it worked.
