Finally bump map in place, but no show

I had a lot of problems adding the texture to my church project.
First of all, I do not know why, but my links where broken. So updating the original, could not be seen in my church scene. Bummer.
Then I had a lot of problems with Level Of Detail. I named my LOD objects as they should be. But somewhere, in my doings, all kinds of variations where in my scene. Very confusing at all. Object, by object, name by name I fixed things.

I thinks because, for me it’s a large project. So now and then I’m working on it. So you loose control …

Ok, finally I got my bump map in place. And I like it. See this example.

Not much bumpiness, just a flat wall with dents. I even did the arc.

But when I linked this material to my church scene, no dents! Texture is absolutely applied, because when I zoom in, I see it in place. But only after zoom…
This is because of my lighting, I think. I don’t have a real sharp light spot. Just environmental, so sharp shadows, aren’t there. … well lessons learned
Later this week I render a church preview. Till then … happy rendering.

I like the stone texture on the wall. The bumpiness looks nice like the stone was finished when built and weathered naturally.

those dents are a very successful usage of that idea, though.
