Great skin, in a crusty way. 
I wonder if the boots look too cumbersome for a military equipped beast? Or perhaps it is the being near naked it is so hot a world, so why has he the need of Arctic snow warmer boots? Rather than sandals.

As for the boots… Actually, I got a scenario in mind for this character. As an adept sword master, he attends to numerous ordeals, ritual duels of a kind, popular among his people. Such duels require participants to expose their bodies, similarly as boxers fight with bare chests. In the scene, I plan to animate him getting ready to fight in one, hence he’s almost naked. But I wanted to practice modelling, so I left his boots on him. He cannot take off his armoured arm, as at this point, it has become a part of his body. An enchanted prothesis, to replace the arm lost years before in a fight against a superior opponent, back when he was a young and reckless ork
