I forgot to upload it before, but here it is how my pyramid ended up:
One unnecesary complication was to try to get the exact dimensions of the Chichen Itza Pyramid to make the model. I used almost as much time googling that as I spent modelling 
Here are the top and front views:
And the inner chamber. The best screenshots I could get, unfortunately is very hard to get inside to see. Maybe there is a way to make an animated tour in Blender?
I’ll get back and try that if there are lessons about it later
