Not entirely happy with the final product since the movement patern isn’t quite right. Just seems a little off.
The main issue is the way in which the lampshade is controlled. If I were to make it again I would use an empty some distance outside of the shade to control the topmost bone, to have an easier time aligning where the lightsource is facing.
I did enjoy the process a lot though and will revisit animated lightsources later.
Also I should have added some sort of floor texture to have some reference for the camera movement. It’s currently working against the rotation of the lamp which is slightly disorienting.
