Here is my final rendering with all the pieces on the board. I am having an issue rotating the knights on their z-axis though. They rotate around each other instead of on the axis. I think it’s due to me duplicating them. If I figure it out, I’ll Re-render and upload.

You should check in the outliner if the two knights aren’t the same object. It happens if you did the duplicate in edit mode.
