Few Issues About Movement

Hi I got a few issues about last 3-4 videos and I will list all of them here.

  • RequestDirectMove doesnt always tick, It only ticks if I shoot to enemy tank or move them in f8 mode, and sometimes randomly.

  • With low throw values, tanks are not able to move due to friction.

  • When testing rotation and movement one by one, they somehow work (not perfect) but when compiled with both of them (forward and right) it doesnt prefer to rotate.

  • When I toss tanks a little up in f8 mode it looks like working, but they cant move on ground. Again this might be due to friction but couldnt find how to solve it. I tried multiplying throw by 2 and clamping it between 1 and -1, but this also doesnt work.

  • Bonus: Aiming doesnt really work well with movement. It waits for movement to finish before aiming somewhere. Also it may sometimes get totally bugged where it aims somewhere meaningless.

Any help is appreciated, I’m stuck here for a long time and it gets really boring. But I don’t want to move on before handling these.

I seemed to fix this by refreshing the navmesh. Try moving it.
