Recently Bing got additional capability of image analysis. It does a decent job for providing feedback on renders:

Amazing!
can it give a critique?

What do you mean by a critique? Isn’t what I asked it for a critique?

I thought you asked the bot to analyze the image.

Analyze and give (artistic) feedback

Played around with it a bit more… it sometimes makes stupid mistakes (like confusing 3d cursor for an apple  ), but overall I’m really impressed.

That is art critics out of a job!

Ask it what more could be done to make it better!

It’s not there yet… but assuming even moderate pace of progress, there is a potential of various ā€œAIsā€ to replace all jobs (at some undefined point in the future)…

I was testing that with few of my renders. Sometimes it’s hit and miss, but sometimes it’s quite good. For example to my first one:

Here’s example of the miss part of ā€˜hit and miss’:

I.e., the robot arm is still on the new render (just on the other side of the desk), there is no coffee machine or spaceship outside the window and the chairs are identical on both renders and stuff outside the window is the same on both renders, etc.

Bard (Google’s chatbot) can do it too now:
