Considering the importance of presentation, I believe that the current UI setup could use more stylistic flair to make things more appealing. Here are some ideas:
- Go with a less plain font such as Milonga, Alice, or Kingthings Calligraphica
- Switch out the base graphics. There’s a lot of free stuff on websites like itch.io, the Unity Asset Store and Game Dev Market
- Have the layout be something more standard for JRPGs. Something like what the Golden Sun games have
