I kept mine close to the lesson, any time I stray into independent design, it screws my whole lesson up. I really want to though after seeing everyone’s creative work.
But it happens once shame on me, happens twice shame on me. But I have to be up to 5+ times where, I have to re-arrange whole scene, to stick with lesson.

We all have been there. Wandering of the course, because we want to try something. It isn’t a big problem. Thing is, somethimes you miss knowledge, because you’re going faster then this course, than you ran into trouble. Keep it simple. Learn first, act later.

Don’t forget some posters here have completed the course once already in 2.7, or have experience in other software. The point of a course is not to drown you in complexity before you have the basics introduced and got a handle on. Follow the course, go back later if you still want to redo things ‘off course’.
