Faces behaving weirdly when using a knife tool

I have this problem but it happens only in one specific place, on the neck of the ork. When I try to cut the faces using the knife tool they are behaving weirdly, sometimes going inside the model and not sticking to the high poly model they are shrinked-wrapped around.



Here are images showing the problem. Did anyone encounter something similar?

Have you checked for things like the normals not all facing outwards? Or the possibility of double geometry in that area.

Yes, I checked both. Seems like the faces that are created by the knife tool just don’t want to stick to right places. I was trying to move them individually but it just doesn’t look right, I think the shrinkwrap modifier is just glitching.
