I made a fun little wizard type house for my extrusion challenge.
The twisted roof, the tentacle garden, and the stonework around the base were a lot easier to do with the extrude tool.

Good challenge!
Fun colors, nice details (bricks).
Try to use one sun lamp (because it’s an outside scene).
Change sun angle for softer shadows.
- Right click an object (green bush) and select smoothing from the menu.
