Here is my extrude challenge. I decided to go with a sword instead of buildings. I was going to try coloring it in when I realized im not sure how to color individual faces. I might come back once the lessons cover that, or jump ahead and figure it out. But for now here is what I have, both with Eevee and Cycles screen shots.
I just used a basic cube an icosphere. Everything else was built up with extrude and vertex manipulation.
