Exporting to fusion 360 for 3d printing -any tips/tricks?

I plan on modeling in Blender then, for machining purposes, exporting to Fusion 360 and then to print.
I read somewhere to remove the subdivision modifier in Blender from a low poly base mesh, which in theory, serves as the control mesh for an editable T-Spline body in Fusion 360? Is this workflow recommended or even necessary for a mere 3d print? Thanks!
