Exporting Character Animation from Blender to Unreal

Hi guys… I know this is like finding a needle in a hay stack but i wanted to try my luck here… does anybody know why my animations are distorted in unreal engine when played? even tho they look fine in blender and the static mesh is also fine… the character suddently gets bigger and glitches when walking.

I suspect this is something to do with the scale being different to blender in unreal and its something you either have to take into account when making the model or in the import settings in Unreal.
I havent used unreal in a while so the exact process escapes me at this time
