Experimenting with Procedural Texturing (Zippo Lighter)

I was able to use some of the generators and node groups which I made by following Stephen’s instructions and they worked marvelously. My next step is to expand my asset library so I have a ton of node groups to work with. I’m definitely understanding the whole thing a lot more.

I would have liked to add carbon deposits as my lighter is caked in it but wasn’t sure how to achieve this.

Great use of the textures.

You can mix the material with some bitmaps to create this. Not everything needs to be procedural.
