Everything comes back

running UE 4.14.3 - I have done the file consolidation and CPP refactoring 3 times now. Each time I reach a point where all the old folders have returned, and all the files are back in the original locations. The files and folders delete from the file structure outside of unreal when I delete/move them in unreal. I assume they finally fixed it so you wouldn’t be required to go back and forth. but wth??? if the folder is deleted in unreal, and deleted on the disk, how in the heck is it coming back later? I am completely baffled here, not to mention frustrated beyond belief. I have to be missing something stupid here.

any suggestions?

After you delete the CPP and .h files, rerun the “Build Visual Studio Project” again, and reload the solution and recompile.
