Ethereal Defender : Post Processing & Result

Here’s what I came up with as a result of this course. Along the way, I have added the possibility to select between 2 different tower elements (wind and fire, designed with MagicaVoxel), which have different cost, damage, and damage type (wind is single target damage, while fire creates an AOE explosion that damages all enemies inside). Also, an overlay is displayed on the tiles on mouseover so we know where we are going to place a tower, and which one, and enemies have visible health bars, and some animated text that displays the earnings when one is killed.

I’ll probably continue with adding a wave system and more towers. Pretty fun project!
