I tried to add a new scene and while in the play mode, it says “FO(Not loaded)”(FO is the scene name) in the hierarchy(top left).

Have you already tried to restart Unity?
I did but my whole project got wiped, unfortunately. Will be making a new one. 
Huh, that usually should not happen. 
Sometimes, Unity loads its empty default scene. If your scene is suddenly empty, try to find and open your scene in your Assets folder. Maybe your project is still there.
No, it wasn’t there. I had to make a new project. But thank you for your help
