My Epic Games Launcher will not open. I followed all the setup steps and have gotten to the point where you need to open it. After clicking it, nothing happens. I went through troubleshooting and watched YouTube videos on how to fix it but nothing has worked. What should I do?

I went into %localappdata% and into the Epic Games Launcher File. Found my way to a crash report. I’ll post the code here in case it is any use. I have reset the entire PC, removing all files and went through the steps from the beginning but the launcher still won’t open.

Here’s the code from the crash report:

In which course and lecture are you? I’m asking because this is the subforum for our Unity courses, and I do not remember any lecture in which we used the Epic Games Launcher for developing our games.

Hi Dan,

Got it sorted. I contacted Epic Games Support and they told me to download the launcher straight from their site. I did this and it worked with no problem
