All Anime are bug eyed aliens! Daft ‘style’ to me, but it makes an easier model to begin on than a full realistic human.

If you’re looking for a suggestion- I would try raising the bottom of the nose a little to give some more space between that and the mouth. Lowering the the ears might also help (Proportional human ears, even in anime characters, tend to go from the bottom of the nose to the mid point in the eye.)
