Definitely a difference in the shadow work on either one. First is Eevee, second is Cycles.
Eevee seems to make the shadows either ridiculously faint, or super thick depending on the lighting position. While Cycles makes them a bit more realistic, as it can tell that below the counter is still somewhat lighted, compared to Eevee which just blacks it out.
