I am currently using UE 5.1.1.
So whenever I try creating BP (subclass) from the static mesh the editor get freeze. I tried deleting intermediate, binaries and saved folder. I also tried verifying the engine, still the editor is getting freeze.

This might be an engine bug as I’ve seen one other student run into that. You should be able to create it a different way, in the Content Browser use the New button to create a new blueprint class then search for StaticMeshActor when selecting a parent class.
