If you know what the preprocessor directives are, sure, it’s simpler, but I think that’s way out of scope for this course, remember, it’s a beginners course and you can’t simply introduce something like that without the proper explanation, and that can take several lectures.
There’s also an advantage in showing the Editor folder, it is used for many other purposes, not just hiding classes and preventing them from compiling, it’s also a great introduction for other special folders Unity can use.
