If you’re like me, you don’t like the sound of your own voice (unless I’m singing, but that’s what my album is for!). Ok… mainly I just didn’t have time tonight to make some audio clips, so I did a quick search for easy audio clips, and randomly stumbled upon a free “Text to Speech” generator that actually leaves you with an MP3 you can download!
They’ve got about 6 American voices and two British ones. Only trouble I stumbled upon was none of the voices were able to render a very convincing "Oh my God, we’re under attack!"
FromTextToSpeech free generator.

Nice. Find.
I’m not even in Unity yet but happy I looked at this - great resource.
yeah im not sure if anyone should use this. Its not a secure site and it looks like you have to actually download the file first before even being able to hear it.
Nto too worried personally about the security, since what’s passing back and forth is just the text you choose to send it… (Don’t ask it to read out your ssn, for example). You can preview the sounds, but you have to have flash enabled.
