I added a low-power hemi to my scene to illuminate the board somewhat, but still kept things a bit dark and dramatic. I really like for my blue glass shadows to show up.
[EDIT] OOH!!! I put the hemi UNDER my board, and added some translucency to the board so the glow can come up from underneath!
